According to Katie Spence of the Epoch Times, “seventeen states follow California’s rigid vehicle emission requirements instead of federal standards, and now they’re considering following California’s lead in its gas-powered vehicle ban.”
These states are New York, Massachusetts, Vermont, Maine, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Washington, Oregon, New Jersey, Maryland, Delaware, Colorado, Minnesota, Nevada, Virginia, and New Mexico).
So while China is bolstering and reinforcing their production and reliance on fossil fuels (to their great success, I might add), one third of the United States is abandoning their means of reliable energy far before they are actually capable of doing so.
Gavin Newsom, California’s governor, who faced (and unbelievably defeated) an effort to recall him for his consequential mistakes which are bringing California to ruin, is blasting his pleas all over TV this week, calling for Californians to limit their energy consumption by “setting thermometers to 78 degrees or higher” and to “only run air conditioners in the morning,” because California’s energy grid has lost the ability to provide energy. Why? Because they abandoned nuclear and fossil fuel energy sources.
Great job, Gavin! You’re doing excellent work for China (and other American rivals in helping to bring this nation down.
And now, seventeen other states are following the same mistakes as California? WHAT are they thinking?
Look, having alternative energies is really a great idea, but let’s do it gradually without shooting ourselves in the feet! Let’s have an “all of the above” approach to energy while renewables that actually make sense face the test of a free market. We don’t need to choke the life out of the millions for fossil fuel jobs in the name of “transition.”
But instead, the Biden administration and the democrats passed the laughable (you got to laugh to keep from crying) and mis-named “Inflation Reduction Act” that hands out $300 Billion more to companies like the ill-fated Solyndra. (The Obama administration handed out over $500 million to them.) The government handing out taxpayer money for non-essential businesses isn’t free market — that is called socialism. And so the government upholds companies that otherwise would and should fail. And where does all this money go to? High salaries for the company owners maybe? All that while at the same time that law kills current energy jobs — millions of them.
So now, seventeen states want to kill their own energy availability by following Newsom’s Chinafornia’s energy policies.
It only makes America weaker. Why would you do this? It’s like burning down your own house — which you wouldn’t, shouldn’t do, because that’s where you live! You don’t sh!t where you eat! America, stop hurting yourselves. Don’t you want to be prosperous? Don’t you want your kids to grow up in a country with better and more opportunities than you had?
It doesn’t matter what party you’re from. This plot to bring down your (our) country is against you too. It’s against your family. Higher gas prices means less vacations. Higher taxes means less in your pocket, less everything for your family. Don’t you get it yet? How long will you listen to the lies that politicians tell you? How long will you choose to suffer their illogical and devastating edicts?
The United States is where you live. If you bring it down, you’re only bringing yourself down. If you make the United States a worse place to live, then guess what, you’re living there! You just made it worse for yourself!
Be honest with yourself. Since the democrats have gotten in office: have your investments gone up or down? Have grocery prices, gas prices, gone up or down. Has your life really gotten any easier? Do you have more or less rights? More or less safety? If you just stop the bickering and all the talking points just for one moment, and be honest with yourself, you’d be able to answer these questions truthfully, and then see clearly on how to vote goodness and prosperity back to yourselves. And remember, there’s several Republicans who are just as bad. But unfortunately, there’s one party that’s openly adopting policies that are destroying the United States — everything from murdering it’s own population replenishing (abortion) to banning the use of fossil fuels. Do you think for one moment that China or Russia is banning fossil fuels? Of course they’re not. They’re not stupid, no matter what you think.
In fact, they’ve demonstrated genius-level strategy in convincing “useful idiots” in both parties, the media, and big tech, to support and spread ideas and policies that only harm the freedoms, the prosperity, the quality of life of Americans. They’ve convinced nearly half of Americans to keep voting for policies that will ensure their (Americans’) own fall.
Come back to your senses, please. When and if there’s enough electricity and infrastructure (recharging stations) out there to justify electric vehicles becoming the norm, then great, do it. But right now, we’re not there.
And for those out there who misunderstand my position, I do not hate China or Russia. I would love to see a world in which we could work cooperatively and harmoniously with Russia and China without being enemies. Think of what great strides we could make together as a world if we learned how to get along and not undermine each other. But at the same time, let’s be realistic. American’s rivals have succeeded in getting Americans to turn on each other. Now all they have to do is watch the United States destroy itself — unless American’s are wise enough to see through all the fog and return to sensible, intelligent, and truthful debate of all of these issues. That’s what this whole website is about, getting American’s to return to their senses, becoming UnDepraved.
