Hey Christian: God Desires that Everyone Goes to Heaven, but do YOU?

Yes, even the Republicans. Yes, even the Democrats. Yes, even those who have committed horrific (or to use a favorite prosecutors’ word, “heinous”) crimes. But the real questions are, “Do YOU want to go to heaven?” and, “Do you want everyone else to go to heaven?” Does a politician who bellows forth their status as a Christian but then advocates the murdering of children in the womb, does that person really want to go to heaven? Or do they just want to get re-elected? And you, as a Christian, do you really want the abortionist or the homosexual to go to heaven? Or would you rather see them condemned, to justify yourself? If you truly want everyone to go to heaven, then you would speak the truth to them in love.

Today our Country (and many around the world) is divided on a multitude of issues. We argue about everything from the colors our shoes can be (certain gang colors can get you murdered depending on where you are in a city) to whether or not the Pope should be called the “Holy Father” (Jesus says in Matthew 23:9 “Call no man your father on earth, for you have one Father, who is in Heaven.” But the Catholic Church, instead of just obeying the command at face value, makes an elaborate study guide in order to justify the practice of priests being called “father.” But that’s food for a different discussion.

The “United” States of America have become the most divided people on the face of the earth. Gone are the days where you could just “live and let live.” Gone are the days where we could celebrate our different cultures and enjoy them. And whatever happened to people just moving to where other like-minded people live, and so avoid confrontation. That may still be happening to some degree, but the over-arching reality is that people want to shove their ideology down your throat, and then some. And it is done willingly by the small people — these destructive messages floated into the minds of Americans by the enemies of Americans, to bring Americans to their knees.

In the past, Christians were the primary “culprits” — those who just wouldn’t shut up about right versus wrong, and how morality should be emphasized in our children’s lives. And it was, more or less, a unified message of “believe in God and live a better life, a happier life, in the love of God which is Christ Jesus, and moreover, get the great benefit of going to heaven after a life of faith in the Son of God.

But now so many (hopefully not Christians?) are yelling with the full strength of their breath: “Transwomen are Women!” and just about every other nonsensical falsehood they can formulate. And because of the force of insistence, and perhaps the threat of violence, intimidated Christians in America are becoming less unified in their beliefs and just go along (quietly, so as to not draw negative attention) with the falsehoods. Every Christian knows deep down, I would argue, that these falsehoods are “doctrines of demons” and are everywhere making people confused. Some Christians believe in abortion, others do not. Some believe in homosexual marriage, some do not. And the list goes on and on where the “Enemy” and yes, I mean the “Evil One,” has won great victories in making Christians divided on a myriad of issues. His plan of attack has never changed: “Hath God really said…?” Making the people of God doubt the Word of God is still his main modus operandi.

So let me get to the point: American Christians must be unified in the Word of God if this Nation (and other American nations (Canada, Mexico, Brazil, etc.)), which was founded on Judeo-Christian principles is to survive. Already, we see great lawlessness, and I believe it is soon that the “man of lawlessness” or the “son of perdition” is to be revealed. And everyone is running around this way or that thinking that Truth is merely relative. That evil is merely relative.

But we Christians know that Truth is absolute, and not open to interpretation. Goodness is absolute. Light is absolute. Remember the scripture says, “God is light and in Him there is no darkness.” He is absolute. You cannot compromise. God’s Word is Truth, because it is that very word that defines our reality. “God said, ‘Let there be light.’ And there was light.” So, we Christians must start speaking the truth, to bring down strongholds of falsehood and everything that opposes the Lord God of Love, who wants everyone — for He created everyone — to be saved: “For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth” (1 Timothy 2:3-4).

Christians should unite as one voice and uphold the Truth in love. Jesus Christ died for all men (and women), so that anyone and everyone who believes upon Him shall have everlasting life. This is the Truth. But because the world’s ideas are swirling around like tornadoes in a hurricane: abortion, hyper-sexuality, murders, thefts, rapes, phone scams, car jackings, home invasions, robberies, drug overdoses, fights, arguing, bickering, vengeance, and the list of ideas goes on and on, so much so that people have forgotten what is really true and good in life: love, safety, peace, harmony with all you meet, being able to live without fear, and having enough of this world’s goods to throw a hamburger on the grill once in a while, or to enjoy the happy feeling of being able to help (and actually helping) someone else in need.

People need to get back to humility in one’s self and respect towards others. But will they? People need to get back to what their Bible actually says, instead of listening to what some crackpot feel-good tele-evangelist spouts forth. And that includes the so-called “honorable” politicians and bureaucracy and so-called “honorable” judges ruining this country. Or do they think that they will be free of God’s judgment because of their delusional high rank? No, they will be held to an even more exacting standard of justice because of that rank. As the scripture says, “Truth has gone from the sons of men; everyone speaks falsehood to one another” and in another place: “The worthless are prized highly by the sons of men, and the wicked prowl on every side.”

God wants everyone to come to heaven after this life, but do they want to? Do you want to? Or is the list of worldly allurements above (abortion, hyper-sexuality, murders, etc.) just too fun to leave behind? As Paul writes, “The world is passing away and also its lusts; but the one who does the will of God continues to live forever” (1 John 2:17). And what is the will of God? “For us to believe in the one He sent,” which, for us Christians, is Christ Jesus, the Son of God.

So when you think about things, think about what YOU really want. Do you want to go to heaven? If so, then you should be proving to yourself that you love the Lord Jesus by doing as He commanded (If you love me you will do as I command you.), and stop going along with the whirlwind of nonsense that flies about in the world.

If we are confused as Christians, we, who are meant to be truly the light, the salt, of the world (because the Holy Spirit indwells us (and this is an absolute Truth, and no fantasy), then how will the rest of the world who have never cared for any absolute Truth fare? How will they know what is Truth if we do not speak it, if we do not live it?

It is written that God loves truth in the inwardmost part of man. Do you think that America can somehow get back to truth? If you do believe it, it is because you know that the truth must begin inside you. You know a man is not a woman and a woman is not a man. You know life begins at conception. You know marriage is a divine institution (subjugated by the State, now unfortunately). You know theft is bad because it hurts others. You know that murder…is bad: it hurts others. And so on. Abide in the Truth!

Now before someone confuses the point, I am judging no one. For there is One Judge, but what I am urging all Christians to do, is to live as a Christian in the Truth as we know it from the Holy Spirit and the Word of God, and to forsake the lies of the world. Only then might we be able to help those other poor confused souls who want to escape the evils of the world and live in the peace and love of God. But if we are swept away with every false doctrine, then who will look to us for light? for truth? Christian, stand firm!

If you want all men and women to go to heaven, then speak Truth to them, with kindness and love, even when they spit vitriol back at us.
