As 2025 comes to a close, many are thinking about Thanksgiving and Christmas or what costumes to wear for Halloween. But can we consider for just a moment the truth about our Country? Let’s take a look.
Are We Still Divided, Or is that what our enemies want us to think? This is a complicated question to answer. It looks like we are on the very precipice of a civil war, if you look at Congress (they’re done talking; they’re done negotiating, and the Democrat Socialists won’t give an inch unless the Republicans agree to billions of dollars for non-citizens. The people seem divided on abortion, on transgender, on whether socialism (Communism — I see you, New York) is better than our current Constitution.
China and our other enemies/competitors would love nothing more than to see the United States fall to a Civil War, or to Socialism. Remember that the U.S.S.R stood for the “Union of Soviet Socialist Republics.” And how did that work out for them? Up to 20 million people murdered who didn’t want to go along with it, poverty, total lack of freedom, and a failed economic system (remember the joke: “Okay, you’ll get your car in three years from today.” The buyer asks “Is that a Friday or a Saturday…I have the refrigerator coming on Friday.”) And now, the U.S.S.R isn’t a thing.
And are we really divided? I don’t think so. While the majority of citizens who consider themselves democrats rally themselves together for a mother’s right to choose to kill their infant before it is born, do they really embrace the following?: [1] letting their own vote, social monetary assistance, civil services get diluted by migrant illegals; [2] exposing their children to irreversible transgender surgeries and harmful drugs; or [3] losing their children/sisters/brothers to fentanyl or to other crimes, such as recently happened (again) with an illegal migrant (who was high on drugs) driving a truck into three cars on the interstate, killing three.
Certainly, all citizens want safe cities, low gas and grocery prices. Certainly all citizens want the freedoms preserved for us in the Bill of Rights. And just to be clear if the 2d Amendment comes to mind and you’re thinking about disagreeing, remember that was added to be a guard against the government becoming tyrannical as the British government did (and I dare say is becoming again).
All that to say that we as a people might not be as divided as we think. The transgender agenda accounts for a small percentage of democrats. And most people feel that if you’re an adult and have your own money to maim your body, then go for it, but leave the children alone. (And as Christians, we oppose even that, for we know that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, and “If anyone defiles the temple of God, God will destroy him. For the temple of God is holy, which temple you are” (1 Cor 3:17).
So, as Americans, we are really united, regardless of what the liars on mainstream media and “The View” claim in their hatred of their own country. They all should be audited to see where their millions of dollars salaries are coming from. Why would they want to continue their dividing rhetoric, unless they had an agenda?
So, the divide is not really a divide of the people between Democrats or Republicans. The divide is much more simple and unobscured than that. The divide is a spiritual divide. It is a divide between those who wish to live according to God’s laws, and those who wish to reject anything and everything to do with God, even if it means to tear down the very basis (Constitution) which assures their freedom to live without God as a citizen.
That is the state of This Union. The United States was established by God-fearing founders who rebelled against an oppressive British king (George III). They wrote a Constitution and added a Bill of Rights to preserve freedoms that the British king had trampled on, and they wrote it for a God-fearing people. If the majority of the United States ever ceases to be God-fearing, the United States will fall, either to Civil War, or to Socialism/Communism. There is no hope except and only if people come back to God. Socialism will destroy our freedom and economy. Communism will destroy your faith, if you’re not steadfast.
The Christian revival that has happened as a result of Charlie Kirk’s untimely death gives us (who see the larger picture) hope. The Bible has once again become the best seller of all books nationwide. Hopefully, democrats were among those who purchased it.
When both sides stop talking to each other, stop listening to each other, that’s when we’re done as a Nation. I pray we can get back to disagreeing (if we must) but without violence. That we can debate issues with facts instead of emotion. That TRUTH must be inviolable and unalterable (there is only reality, not “my truth and your truth”); truth is not subjective.
