Church: GET READY!

Jesus is coming!

Remember our Lord Jesus said, “Now when these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads, for your redemption draws near” (Luke 21:28). So, what things?

Well, for starters, the persecution of the Church of believers in Jesus: “But before all these things, they will lay their hands on you and persecute you…” And yes, that’s been happening for 2000 years. So, let’s take a look at “all these things.” Nation rising against nation (ethnos = ethnicity against ethnicity), kingdom against kingdom (country vs. country). Earthquakes, famines, pestilences. Fearful sights and great signs from heaven. Well, that’s been going on for some time now, too.

Okay, well let’s look at some other clues Jesus gives us (and I’m not going to put verse down on every one of these — you’re free (and expected) to know the Word yourself, and look it up!). “But when you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, then know that its desolation is near.” You might say, well, that has happened too, in 70 A.D. when the Romans destroyed the temple. Not quite. In 70 A.D., there was one army, namely the Tenth Legion, and if there were more, they were still all of one army, the Roman Army. Jesus refers to “armies” which would insinuate more than one nation would send an army to surround Jerusalem.

Now, we must be careful, because Jesus also warns us to not be deceived, for many will come in His name saying “I am He” and “The time has drawn near.” But we are not to believe them, because when we hear of wars and commotions we are not to fear, for these things must take place first but the end does not come immediately because of these.

But let’s acknowledge other signs showing us that Jesus is near, at the very gates! The “digital dollar” is now implemented (as of April 1st, 2023) in all major banks world-wide. Jesus differentiates the surrounding of Jerusalem by armies as to be in the “days of vengeance.” The recent Hamas incursion murdering babies (with barbarous methods, beheadings, burnings, etc.) and women, young men and old — even the elderly, certainly shows forth a character more akin to a vengeful rage than a common warfare. The Globalists have been very active in promulgating their agenda and the new order: “You’ll own nothing and like it. You’ll eat bugs.” The trans-humanist agenda is also picking up speed. Men are women are men. Lawlessness is consuming swaths of order and safety as teenagers (some even younger) take part in mob lootings of stores across America.

And if the signs were not enough, we can feel it in our spirits. There is sorrow for the world in us, but also a great joy of expectation in Jesus our Life bringing us to Him. What does our Lord tell us to do in these days, Church, what are we to do? We are to “Watch, therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass and to stand before the Son of Man.”

If that’s not a direct reference to the rapture, I don’t know what is! For how else would we be able to “escape” all those things that Jesus assures us will “come as a snare upon all those that dwell upon the face of the whole earth” unless we were no longer on earth?

Do you know that nothing else prophetically has to happen before the rapture takes place? Oh, all my Christian brothers and sisters, please join with me in praying for the Church, that mystical body of Christ, that throughout the whole world, everyone who calls himself/herself a Christian will surely be made ready for Jesus, to stand before Him in love, not shame. Let us pray earnestly, with tears, “Heavenly Father, grant to every Christian to escape the tribulation coming upon the earth and to stand before Jesus Christ your Son. Make every Christian worthy, oh Good Father, for it is in Jesus’s name we ask this.”

If you claim to be a Christian, READ the Bible, get to KNOW who Jesus is, for how can you call upon the name of the Lord if you do not know who the Lord is? The scripture affirms that The Bride has “made herself ready.” Even so, let us wash our garments, our souls clean with the Blood of Christ. Let us be filled with His Word and His good Spirit. Let us be Holy and sincere unto Him for Whom our desire yearns. Forsake wrath, doubting, and all sins, especially those of lust and greed. Meditate every day on our Blessed Hope and pray all of us as one voice, to be made worthy in Jesus Christ to escape the just wrath of God and to stand before Jesus without shame, without dishonor, but with joy and love and confidence in His great love for us.

Pray for the Peace of Jerusalem, for in doing so you are heralding the coming of the Lord, for only by Him shall there be everlasting peace there. Let us unite as one voice in Christ, “make us ready for your calling us up to you, O Lord!” Amen.
